I was afraid this would make my hair oily and that I may not be able to use it in the morning before work, etc. But the roller delivers only a small amount of oil and so it did not weigh my hair down or make it 'oily', but actually made it feel thicker! And if you do want more oil, like before bed, just roll it on your fingers and then rub your fingers on your scalp.
