Official Sweepstakes Rules

I. Sweepstakes Period

The “Rumi Cosmetiques Monthly Full Body Red Light Panel Giveaway” (the “Sweepstakes”) begins at 12:00:01 a.m. UTC on the first day of each calendar month and ends at 11:59:59 p.m. UTC on the last day of that same calendar month (each a “Promotion Period”).

Each Promotion Period is a separate Sweepstakes. Entries do not carry over into subsequent months. Entrants who wish to participate in a subsequent month must submit a new entry.

The Sponsor’s computer systems are the official timekeeping devices for determining the timing of entries.

SIA Rumi Cosmetiques is referred to in these Official Sweepstakes Rules as the “Sponsor”.

III. Eligibility

The Sweepstakes is open to legal residents of the following eligible jurisdictions:

• the United States and District of Columbia, excluding Rhode Island and U.S. territories;
• the United Kingdom; and
• the European Union and European Economic Area, excluding Italy.

Entrants must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of majority in their jurisdiction of residence if higher, at the time of entry.

By submitting an entry, the entrant confirms that they satisfy the eligibility requirements set out in these Official Sweepstakes Rules.

The Sponsor may make additional jurisdictions eligible for a future Promotion Period where the Sponsor has determined that the Sweepstakes may lawfully be offered in that jurisdiction and any applicable requirements have been satisfied. Any such expansion will apply prospectively and will be clearly communicated before or during the relevant Promotion Period.

Employees, officers, directors, contractors and representatives of the Sponsor, its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising or promotion agencies, and members of their immediate families or households are not eligible to participate.

The Sweepstakes is void where prohibited or restricted by applicable law.

IV. How to Enter

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED OR RESTRICTED BY LAW.

To enter, visit the Rumi Cosmetiques Monthly Full Body Red Light Panel Giveaway page during the applicable Promotion Period and complete and submit the official online entry form.

There is a limit of one (1) entry per person and per email address during each Promotion Period.

Automated, bulk, fraudulent, incomplete or duplicate entries may be disqualified.

Making a purchase from Rumi Cosmetiques does not provide an additional entry and does not improve an entrant’s odds of winning.

V. Prize Details

One (1) eligible winner will receive:

One (1) Full Body Red Light Panel

Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): €999

The prize is non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered, except where required by applicable law.

If the advertised prize becomes unavailable for reasons outside the Sponsor’s reasonable control, the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

The Sponsor will arrange and pay for standard delivery of the prize to the winner at an eligible address.

No fee is payable to the Sponsor in order to claim the prize.

Any taxes, duties or other charges arising from the receipt or use of the prize are the responsibility of the winner to the extent required by applicable law, except for standard prize delivery costs paid by the Sponsor.

VI. Odds of Winning

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the applicable Promotion Period.

VII. Winner Selection & Notification

One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries received during each Promotion Period.

The drawing will take place within the first seven (7) business days of the following calendar month and will be conducted using a verifiably random computer process or, if such a process is not used, by or under the supervision of an independent person.

The Sponsor reserves the right to verify the eligibility of the potential winner before awarding the prize.

VIII. Prize Delivery

Following confirmation of eligibility, the Sponsor will arrange shipment of the prize to the winner.

The winner may be required to provide their full name, telephone number and shipping address solely for the purpose of arranging delivery.

The Sponsor will use reasonable efforts to dispatch or otherwise arrange delivery of the prize within thirty (30) days after the winner has been confirmed and has provided all information reasonably required for delivery.

If circumstances outside the Sponsor’s reasonable control prevent delivery within that period, the Sponsor will inform the winner and arrange delivery as soon as reasonably practicable.

If delivery of the prize is legally prohibited in the winner’s jurisdiction or cannot reasonably be completed, the Sponsor may select an alternate winner from the remaining eligible entries.

IX. General Conditions

The Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any entrant who:

• tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process;
• uses automated or fraudulent means to enter;
• submits false or misleading information;
• interferes with the administration or operation of the Sweepstakes; or
• otherwise violates these Official Sweepstakes Rules.

If fraud, technical failures, unauthorized intervention, force majeure or another circumstance outside the Sponsor’s reasonable control compromises the integrity or proper administration of the Sweepstakes, the Sponsor may suspend, modify or terminate the affected Promotion Period to the extent permitted by applicable law.

Where reasonably possible, any winner will then be selected from eligible entries received before the relevant disruption occurred.

The Sponsor will not materially change the conditions of an ongoing Promotion Period in a way that unfairly disadvantages entrants who have already submitted valid entries.

X. Release and Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, entrants agree that the Sponsor, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, representatives, agents and service providers will not be liable for losses or damages arising from participation in the Sweepstakes or acceptance, possession or use of the prize.

Nothing in these Official Sweepstakes Rules excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under applicable consumer protection or other mandatory laws.

Nothing in these Official Sweepstakes Rules affects any mandatory statutory rights available to entrants.

XI. United States Provisions

For eligible entrants located in the United States, no purchase or payment is required to enter or win, and a purchase will not improve the chances of winning.

The Sweepstakes is open in the United States and District of Columbia, excluding Rhode Island and U.S. territories.

The Sweepstakes is void in any jurisdiction where the Sweepstakes, prize or method of entry is prohibited by applicable law.

XII. European Union and EEA Provisions

For eligible entrants residing in the European Union or European Economic Area, these Official Sweepstakes Rules apply subject to any mandatory rights and protections provided under the laws of the entrant’s country of residence.

Italy is excluded from eligibility unless and until the Sponsor separately confirms that the applicable Italian promotional requirements have been satisfied.

Nothing in these Official Sweepstakes Rules limits rights that cannot legally be waived under applicable national or European Union consumer protection law.

The Sponsor will award the advertised prize, or a reasonable equivalent where substitution is necessary and legally permitted.

Participation in the Sweepstakes does not require the entrant to purchase Rumi Cosmetiques products or consent to receive marketing communications.

XIII. United Kingdom Provisions

For entrants residing in the United Kingdom, entry to the Sweepstakes is free and no purchase is required.

The winner will be selected in accordance with the laws of chance using a verifiably random computer process or, if such a process is not used, by or under the supervision of an independent person.

The Sponsor will make reasonable efforts to notify the winner and will use reasonable efforts to award the prize within thirty (30) days after the winner has been confirmed and the information necessary to deliver the prize has been received.

Where required by applicable UK promotional marketing rules, the Sponsor may make available information demonstrating that a valid prize award has taken place.

This information will ordinarily be limited to the winner’s surname and county or region.

Entrants may object to the publication or availability of this information, or request that the amount of information made available be reduced, by contacting the Sponsor.

Where required, the Sponsor may nevertheless provide relevant winner information directly to a competent regulatory authority.

XIV. Privacy and Data Protection

SIA Rumi Cosmetiques is the controller of personal information collected in connection with the Sweepstakes.

Personal information submitted in connection with the Sweepstakes may include an entrant’s first name, last name, email address, country or region and information subsequently provided by a potential winner for eligibility verification and prize delivery.

The information will be processed for purposes including:

• administering the Sweepstakes;
• recording and validating entries;
• preventing fraudulent or duplicate entries;
• selecting and notifying winners;
• verifying winner eligibility;
• delivering prizes;
• maintaining reasonable records demonstrating that the Sweepstakes was administered fairly; and
• complying with applicable legal and regulatory obligations.

For entrants located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, the Sponsor processes personal information where necessary for its legitimate interests in administering, securing and documenting the Sweepstakes, provided those interests are not overridden by the entrant’s rights and freedoms, and where necessary to comply with applicable legal obligations.

Where consent is required for a separate purpose, such as electronic marketing, that processing will be based on separate consent and will not be a condition of entering the Sweepstakes.

Entry into the Sweepstakes does not constitute consent to receive marketing communications from Rumi Cosmetiques.

Information collected through the giveaway entry form will not automatically subscribe entrants to marketing communications.

Personal information may be disclosed where reasonably necessary to service providers acting on behalf of the Sponsor, including website and form providers, technology providers, email providers, professional advisers, prize fulfilment and delivery providers, and governmental or regulatory authorities where disclosure is required by law.

Where personal information is transferred outside the European Economic Area or United Kingdom, the Sponsor will use an applicable lawful transfer mechanism or safeguard where required, such as an adequacy decision, standard contractual clauses or another legally recognized safeguard.

Entry information will generally be retained for no longer than twelve (12) months after the applicable drawing and will then be deleted or anonymized, unless a longer period is reasonably necessary to comply with a legal obligation, establish or defend a legal claim, investigate suspected fraud, or maintain legally required records.

Information relating to a confirmed winner may be retained for a longer period where reasonably necessary for accounting, tax, regulatory, delivery or legal record-keeping purposes.

Entrants located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom may have rights under applicable data-protection law, including rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and data portability, subject to applicable conditions and exceptions.

Entrants may also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data-protection supervisory authority in their country of residence or with the competent supervisory authority for the Sponsor.

XV. Winner List

Information regarding the winner of each Promotion Period may be made available after the applicable drawing where required or permitted by applicable law.

To request available winner information, send a written request within thirty (30) days after the applicable drawing date to:

For privacy reasons, the Sponsor will not disclose a winner’s full residential address.

Winner information may be limited where required by applicable privacy or data-protection laws.

Where applicable, a winner may object to the publication or disclosure of their personal information or request that the amount of information disclosed be reduced.

The Sponsor may nevertheless provide relevant winner information directly to a competent regulatory authority where legally required.

XVI. Governing Law and Disputes

These Official Sweepstakes Rules and the Sweepstakes are governed by the laws of Latvia.

For entrants who are consumers, this choice of law does not deprive them of any mandatory consumer protection rights, promotional rights or other protections available under the laws of their country or jurisdiction of residence that cannot legally be waived.

Nothing in this section prevents an entrant from exercising any rights regarding jurisdiction, dispute resolution or access to courts that cannot legally be waived under applicable law.

XVII. Sponsor’s Right to Modify

The Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate the Sweepstakes, or any affected Promotion Period, where circumstances outside the Sponsor’s reasonable control materially affect the integrity, fairness or operation of the Sweepstakes.

Any modification will be made only to the extent permitted by applicable law and will not unfairly prejudice entries already validly submitted.
